Island Immersion
Join Cara and The Yoga Lounge on our next adventure to the Galapagos Islands, home to some of the highest levels of endemism (species found nowhere else on earth) than anywhere on the planet. Studied by Charles Darwin in the 1830s and inspired his theory of evolution, these islands are protected as part of Ecuador's Galápagos National Park.

Wildlife Like Nowhere Else
The Galápagos Islands is a volcanic archipelago in the Pacific Ocean. About 80% of the land birds, 97% of the reptiles and land mammals, and more than 30% of the plants you will see are endemic. More than 20% of the marine species in Galapagos are found nowhere else on earth. A province of Ecuador, it lies about 1,000km off its coast.

Why Galapagos?
Six hundred miles off the coast of Ecuador lie the volcanic islands of the Galápagos, famous for a wealth of unique plants and animals found nowhere else in the world.
The Galápagos Islands were the source of Darwin's theory of evolution and remain a priceless living laboratory for scientists today. This is a once in a lifetime chance to experience nature like never before.
